This morning we will greet you at your hotel and take you to Doi Inthanon National Park where you will meet your local expert English speaking guide who lives in the Karen hill tribe village. We than take an easy trail to a beautiful waterfalls and visit a Karen hill tribe
village and coffee shop. We will then have lunch and visit the botanical garden and the Royal Agricultural Project and waterfall. Check into your selected bungalow or tent and enjoy dinner and campfire.(L,D)
NOTICE: The bungalows are owned and run by the local village so you will be involved with them during the entire time. There are many things you can do with your guide and villagers during their daily routine. If you wish you can work at the fish farm, learn how to weave, work in the fields, roast coffee beans and much more. This can all be discussed with your guide once you arrive at the bungalows in the park.
This morning we travel to the summit of the highest mountain in Thailand by vehicle and walk a trail for 30 minutes through the real cloud forest then lunch. We then spend the afternoon with the villagers and your guides family. Return to Chiang Mai and your hotel. (B,L)
We then visit a jungle market and then to Huay Teung Thao lake where we will have a barbeque lunch with Papaya salad
on the beach in the shade. You will have time for swimming and relaxing
before we visit the Chiang Mai Zoo and see the Giant Pandas on loan from China and the Zoo Aquarium.
Return to the city and your hotel to clean up before
enjoying a traditional Khantoke dinner with Thai music and dance. Return
to your hotel for the evening. (B,L,D)
Today we visit Tiger Kingdom where you get to pet tigers large and small.. We will
then have lunch visit the handicraft factories, which have been an important
part of Chiang Mai culture for hundreds of years. We then transfer you
to your hotel in Chiang Mai or the airport in time for your late afternoon flight to Bangkok. (B,L)
