A total of 382 species of birds are so far known from Doi Inthanon Thailand.
At least 266 bird species are resident on the mountain. The status of a further 12 bird species is unclear, but breeding is suspected in many of these. The remainder (104 species) are non-breeding winter bird visitors or passage migrants.

We provide transportation for the Doi Inthanon bird watching tour to, from and in the Park from Chiang Mai Thailand. Our expert English speaking birding guide who lives in the park. We suggest a minimum of two days one night in the park however 2 Days 2 Nights is recommended to cover the entire park.
Although the list of species is very impressive I only included the list of birds I have seen here in the itinerary. I am sure we will spot species I have yet to spot as it happens more often than not. Because of the different altitudes from 400 to over 2500 meters, a wide variety of bird species can be seen.

1 Day Doi Inthanon Birding Tour Short Summary
Birds underlined in color will take you to the bird photo we have taken while on tour.
We start at an altitude of 1700 meters. There is a 1 kilometer section of evergreen forest and pine that support a variety of bird species near the road on the forest edge. This zone has a higher bird species diversity than any other on the mountain between sunrise and 10 AM.: Among its bird species are:
